Animated Statistics Using R (to be moved to AniWiki!)
This is really a huge project...
Foreword

As my site only focuses on statistical models and theories which can be expressed in an animated way, I will intentionally filter out those "static" methods -- even though they are important in the field of statistics. Anyway, I will try my best to include as much knowledge as possible here. If I have omitted something which you don't think is negligible, please just tell me.

In my mind, animations can be used in

  • algorithms containing iterations (or loopings)
  • comparisons of performances under different conditions
  • dynamic traces of a statistic or something else with time (horizontal axis) changing
